Welcome to our Catholic elementary school, where we educate the whole child: mind, body, and spirit. This project based learning outdoor classroom enhances our young elementary curriculum. Our students gain skills by taking time to investigate and respond to authentic & engaging challenges in the outdoor world.

This makerspace allows students to dig deeper into projects involving: science, technology, religion, engineering, art and math.
The S.T.R.E.A.M Lab studies focus on a different theme each month. All subjects (science, technology, religion, engineering, art & math) are blended together and applied to real-world problem solving.
The project based learning teaching method found in the S.T.R.E.A.M Lab provides ample opportunity & encouragement for SSBVM students to create solutions for complex problems, preparing them for servant-minded leadership in the future.

Dream. Reflect. Inspire.
Allows our middle school students to dig deeper into the traits of writing: word choice, organization, conventions, sentence fluency, voice, ideas, and content.
Focuses on different styles of writing each trimester. Persuasive, narrative, expository, poetry, argumentative, and descriptive writing styles are explored during the academic year.
In Writing Lab Workshops, students are guided through the entire writing process, from brainstorming to the final project. They collaborate during “peer revise & edit sessions,” learning how to receive feedback and adapt their work to best communicate to their audience.
The Writing Lab allows our student wordsmiths to forge new skills and gain confidence to express their ideas clearly, setting them up for success in high school and beyond!

Instructional support at Seven Sorrows refers to the targeted techniques and strategies we use to foster students' cognitive, language, and social-emotional growth. It goes beyond simple memorization, focusing instead on hands-on active learning, higher-order thinking, and meaningful conversations between teachers and students.
